The holder

Claudia de Stasio is a highly experienced transport engineer with over two decades of expertise in sustainable mobility, transport modelling, and policy evaluation.

She has a proven track record in quantitative analysis, impact assessment, and ex-ante/ex-post evaluations, supporting evidence-based decision-making for major transport strategies.

Claudia has led and contributed to numerous European Commission service contracts and research projects, including impact assessments for DG MOVE in compliance with the EU Better Regulation Guidelines, and trans-European transport programs such as TRACECA.

Her technical proficiency spans European transport policy, transport modelling tools, GIS database development, and scenario analysis for long-term policy planning.

Since 2024, Claudia has been coordinating the Horizon Europe project CodeZERO, driving innovation in zero-emission last-mile delivery solutions.

She is also an expert in proposals' development, having successfully managed and secured multiple European service contracts and research initiatives.

Her leadership extends to managing international consortia, engaging stakeholders, and delivering high-impact results aligned with EU sustainability and climate objectives.
