European Commission

DG MOVE

The purpose of the evaluation was to provide a robust evidence-based assessment of the 2011 White Paper on transport and the actions following from it since its adoption in 2011. It examines the effectiveness, efficiency, coherence, relevance and EU added value of the White Paper in line with the Better Regulation Guidelines.
Claudia coordinated the activities on the mid-term evaluation of the effectiveness of the strategy and on the stakeholders’ consultation.

The study focused on getting a better understanding of the impacts on work and employment in the transport sector resulting from the introduction of vehicles with connected and autonomous driving (CAD).
Claudia coordinated the activities on the design and development of four explorative scenarios considering different levels of penetration of CAD vehicles and the evaluation of transport impacts by the European scale modelling tool ASTRA (by TRT).
